You make your companions Captains by assigning them to the group you want them to buff. For example you'll note you press the number two when you want archers. Archers are in group 2. Set your most archery-est companion into group two (under party) and their captain buffs will buff that group. Same goes for cavalry, horse archers, etc.

Your clan is already 3-4 times larger then any other clan. since it allows companions to lead parties, and you start with 3 siblings. 5kCP.
