Hi, I have a 2016 Jaguar XF 2.0 litre Diesel which has developed an Ad Blue incorrect quality and Engine will not start in 500 miles issue. This first happened on a trip from West Sussex where i live to Cornwall. Due to the length of my journey and the uncertainty regarding the engine restarting I took the car in to the Jaguar dealer in redruth.
s type 2.7 d problems dpf. We have had the car for seven years now. We get no warning until both orange and red lights. come on together. It has always been an egr valve or the dpf when the diagnostics are checked. Although we do short runs during the week we have always taken it for a long run every two weeks.
so problem would be either the pressure sensor reading wrong value, HVAC sending wrong ref voltage to sensor, seleniod valve stuck, bad compressor or low gas. because mine is really cold on the move, I would say gas is fine.Ref voltage is 4.95v from SDD. So if I can read it using multimeter the pressure sensor should be bad.

The service warning was correctly reset. Yesterday a "Service in 1950 miles" came up, which reduced in 3 short journeys to 1700 miles then an amber "DPF Full" message. Took the car on a motorway run in "S" mode to keep the revs up, expecting a 20 min run for it to clear but after about 4 or 5 miles it cleared, which seems too short.
